What is Paper Minecraft?
Paper Minecraft is the renowned 2D recreation of Mojang's Minecraft, programmed by celebrated Scratch developer Griffpatch. How to Play Paper Minecraft
- Click Play above to launch the self-hosted web player.
- Harvest your first wood blocks by clicking and holding on adjacent tree trunks with your mouse.
- Press E to open your inventory and craft your logs into wooden planks, then build a Crafting Table.
- Craft a wooden pickaxe and begin mining underground cobblestone, coal, and iron ore deposits.
- Smelt iron ingots inside a stone furnace to forge iron armor, swords, and resilient pickaxes.

Essential Survival Tips
- Light Up Your Caves: Monsters cannot spawn in illuminated areas. Place torches frequently along your mining shafts.
